I get that question all the time and I’m afraid there are no simple answers.
My personal perspective on this is that at this time if you rode it down all the way to these levels I would say it’s a little late now to get out since with all that’s going on we are likely going to see significant slow down in this “spiral of death”… If you really want out I would wait for the next rebound which will no doubt occur very soon and then take half your marbles out to have cash available to invest in specific stocks later. I will give you some great tips to take advantage of the recovery that’s inevitable coming over the coming months/years.
Also, you really need to brush up on your investment skills. There’s no way around this. Whether you are leaving your affairs in the hands of a financial adviser (yikes!) or managing your own money you need to know the basics of investing and, ideally, learn about technical analysis.
At http://www.InvestorRules.com we offer such information, and contrarily to most sites out there, we offer it in a very easy to understand format plus it’s very affordable and we even offer 100% lifetime guarantee!
No risk to you but a lot to gain.
