What are good stocks to invest in just for the winter of 2010?

J asked:

For a business course, we have to decide on 5 stocks to invest in for the semester.

I’ve decided on Sony (personal interest) a sports/automotive retail store, Transocean and Mosaic.

I’m unsure about Mosaic and Transocean, any advice?

Anything that would boom over the end of the year?

The stock that could be sure not to invest in but who knows it also says be sign of scam.

I would recommend VALE… ADR from Brazil… steel giant as well as Apple…Vale will me more stable….apple a little more volatile but a sure winner…
