I want to try to buy stocks online. In my initial researches, there is this choice that I need to make: which stock brokerage should I use. What is the criterion to use and whom to trust. Please help.

It depends on a lot of factors including where you live and the resources you are looking for but assuming you are only starting and don’t need much tools and widgets I would focus on service and costs. The lower the cost with the easiest access to service.

In terms of costs, you need to look at how much they charge you for the desktop platform per month. In most cases when you trade enough ( 10000 + shares or 10+ transactions per month) you get the platform free of charge) Commisions wise it depends how much money yo will trade with. If you have a lot of money or plan to trade penny stocks you will need to buy big lots ( 5000+ shares per trades) which can impact the commission significantly.

So you see there a lot of things to consider and only you can evaluate these needs and only then should you start shopping and comparing…

    Good luck
